Primary Schools

Here at TU Dublin, we know that it is great to get involved whatever your age.  Research suggests getting a feel for university at a young age can be inspiring for children and we would like to welcome primary schools to come along and engage with our activities.

TU Dublin provides opportunities for primary school pupils from local schools to engage with TU Dublin campuses through a range of of hands-on interactive activities including spaghetti towers, bridge building and catapult making that take place, but not exclusively, during College Awareness Week, Maths Week, Engineers Week, Science Week and Tech. Week.

TU Dublin also a deliver a range of additional opportunities that add to the primary school curriculum experience. These include:

The Smoothie Science workshop gave the children an opportunity to the taste of many unusual fruits, learn about the science behind their reaction and finally combine all their favourite flavours into a delicious smoothie.
