This module is designed to provide a general introduction to the basic technical operational skills involved in sound recording and reproduction, to introduce learners to the audio environment and to create an awareness of sound as a narrative device.
Students are required to attend a minimum of 75% of the module classes. Attendance will be recorded.

Telling Tales Through Audio is a practical module conducted in class each week using a variety of Equipment, sound devices and editing software. Students Learn the skills needed to record sound, edit audio and export individual projects amongst group work throughout the Semester.
