Succession Law 1965 and its implication for the Estate Agent, Family Home Protection Act 1976, Section 117 Succession Act 1965.

Introduction to Land Law and Equity

Real and Personal Property; The Land Conveyancing Law Reform Act 2009, Freehold ownership; Hybrid Leases.

Co-ownership & Easements

Forms of co-ownership; Joint tenancy/tenancy in common; Severance of joint tenancy; Determination of co-ownership; The Civil Partnership and Certain Rights of Cohabitants Act 2010. Family Home protection Act 1976. Characteristics; Acquisition of Easements. Recent legislative developments.

Family Home Protection Acts and NAMA Act

Implications for land law in Ireland and for the Family Home protection Act 1976.

Auctions

Duties and liabilities of the auctioneer in respect of vendor/purchaser; compare/contrast private Treaty/Auction. Sale of Goods Legislation regarding personal property , auction and the implied terms afforded to the purchaser.

Investigation of Title, Contract For Sale, Process

Planning and Housing Standards

Housing (Standard for Rented Houses) Regulation (2017). Background and provisions; Planning and Developments Act 200-2015.
