Principles of Physics
Fundamental principles of Mechanics, Properties of Matter, Heat & Temperature and Electricity
Calibration
Definition of calibration. Review of the purpose of calibration and frequency of calibration. The role of the National and International Standards Authorities.
Instrumentation
Introduction to Instrumentation. Instrumental Analysis.
GMP and Calibration
Review of GMP requirements for equipment calibration and the maintenance of calibration documentation (procedure and records). Identification of calibrated from non calibrated equipment.
Calibration, operation, Maintenance of Equipment
Setting up logbooks for the calibration, operation and maintenance of a range of equipment
ASSIGNMENTS
Calibrate equipment used in the work environment.Develop a schedule for the calibration of equipment in the working area in compliance with GMP requirements.Or as prescribed by the company.
