Your student card gives you free access to our campus libraries and a vast range of academic collections. 

The online library is accessible anywhere 24/7. Friendly, expert staff are available to support your learning and research.

There are five library locations: Grangegorman, Aungier Street, Bolton Street, Blanchardstown and Tallaght.  

You can use any of the five libraries. Access to study and computer spaces is on a first come first served basis. No booking is required.

Academic Writing Centre

Academic writing is a key competence in college, and the Academic Writing Centre is here to support you develop your academic writing style.  At the Academic Writing Centre, we provide free academic writing support to all students.  So if you need assistance in completing your written assignments, essays, projects, or if you would like to improve your academic writing style, the Academic Writing Centre is here to support you. In addition, our one-to-one consultations offer you the unique opportunity to discuss your writing concern with an academic writing tutor.

Maths Learning Support Centre

Our Mathematics Learning Support Centre provides free maths and statistical support to all undergraduate students on a one-to-one or small group basis.  We also run workshops on different topics throughout the year. Due to Covid-19, most of our support will be online in semester one. Our online drop-in classes and workshops will be run in virtual classrooms through Brightspace.  There is no need to make an appointment; just drop into one of our virtual classrooms!  The drop-in class schedule will be posted to our website and on Brightspace. 

Study Smart Workshops

Throughout the academic year, our National Learning Network (NLN) Educational Support Service offers study smart workshops in topics such as Essay Planning and Writing; Avoiding Procrastination; Referencing; Proof-Reading and Study Skills.  For further details visit our website here
