Academic Qualifications:
• PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Dublin City University
• BSc in Analytical Science, Dublin City University
Mary began her career lecturing Chemistry in DCU. In 1999 she was appointed as the inaugural President of the Institute of Technology Blanchardstown and was appointed to her current role with TU Dublin in 2018.
Mary has significant leadership experience in higher education influencing best practice and policy. She is a board member of the Central Applications Office and a member of the Registrars Standing Group of the Irish Universities Association.
Originally from Waterford, Mary lives in Dublin with her husband and son. She is a keen sailor who enjoys as many voyages as she can on the open seas!
