TU Dublin celebrated it's sixth annual Green Week since the University's formation in 2019, with events taking place between 11 - 15 March 2024.

The week of action and education for environmental sustainability brought together more than 635 students and staff from across the five TU Dublin campus locations to collaborate in more than 100 events and activities which focused on taking local and national action.

The volume and diversity of events co-created by students and staff during the week-long initiative highlights the scaling up of innovation and action to help lower the University's carbon emissions, protect local biodiversity, and enhance our campus and local environment.

Speaking of the event success, Green-Campus co-Chair and student, Amber Thomas said:

This year Green Week at TU Dublin, couldn't have been possible without the hard work and efforts by many individuals, from Green-Campus, to various clubs and societies, to the Students Union, TU Dublin Healthy Campus and many more groups. With over 100 amazing events ran by more than 600 students and staff, the spirit and passion for creating a more sustainable college was amazing to witness. Green Week took place between 11  - 15 March, however the raising of Green Flag the week before really set the tone and introduced the University to the wonderful and innovative events organised for the week.
